This afternoon, our little family went to our hospital’s Infant Loss Garden to remember and reflect on Emilia’s short life.  Dan and I sat on a bench, while Adelaide played around the garden.  She eventually brought us a feather and continued to play.  At the moment I didn’t think much about the little feather Adelaide had found, but this evening I came across this quote.  Such a perfect ending to my day! Just another sweet gift from my Emilia, showing us that she is with us every day.  Sending us a gift from heaven.

It made me realize how important it is for us to open our eyes to what is happening around us.  Emilia was sending us a beautiful gift, she was telling us hello.  If I had not found this quote, I would have never even realized how wonderful that simple moment was.  Thank You, Emilia! Thank you for making my day and reminding me that I can still find happiness.  I will always continue to search this world for little reminders of you.
