KC Hope Meeting
May 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for our May Meeting! After experiencing the loss of a child, Mother’s Day can bring with it a sense of feeling misunderstood or unseen. Let us come together to celebrate motherhood and to say our babies names out loud at our Annual Mother’s Day Tea. Come as you are.
We will have complimentary tea and dessert for everyone to enjoy. Make sure to bring an item(s) that is special and symbolic to your baby. We will take turns sharing our items among the group, while sharing special stories about our babies. Come as you are.
KC HOPE is a support group for those who have lost babies through miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss. We meet once a month in suburban Kansas City, Missouri. During our gatherings, we devote a portion of time to a topic of interest and spend the remainder of our meeting talking about our babies and discussing our recent experiences with grief. At KC Hope, our mission is to provide and find support, to make friendships, and to remember and honor our babies in meaningful and dignified ways.
Please email or Facebook message our facilitator, Charmel Clough, prior to your first meeting so that we may plan for attendance.
