DESCRIPTION:BLOOM is a support group for parents who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby through miscarriage\, stillbirth\, TFMR\, abortion\, or infant loss.  We meet once a month in suburban Kansas City\, Missouri\, and welcome all who carry this kind of grief\, whether it was yesterday or decades ago\, regardless of circumstance or background. \n\nOur gatherings are peer-led and gently guided\, with an open and unstructured flow.  We spend most of our time simply sharing about our babies\, our stories\, and the different ways grief touches our lives.  Along the way\, many important themes naturally come up – such as fear\, anger\, emptiness\, guilt\, sadness\, depression\, differences in how partners grieve\, relationship strains\, and (when the time feels right) healing and acceptance. \nPlease email or Facebook message our facilitator\, Charmel Clough\, prior to your first meeting so that we may plan for attendance.

The Holidays are often thought of as joyful times of the year\, but they can be incredibly painful when you are celebrating the season without your baby. This month we will gather for a Holiday Candlelight Ceremony. May you find peace and comfort within the Holidays as you remember your sweet babies!
